Knowing myself

It seems to be a never-ending mission to know myself completely. I feel like I know a whole lot already about myself. By know I recognize most of my own patterns. Often I can tell than I’m about to have an emotional ‘stroke’ before it actually happens. What motivates, inspires  and enlightens me can easily be listed and it’s neither hard to point out the exact things that trigger negative emotions within me. However I keep learning all the time.

My enneagram type was discovered about three years ago or so, but it didn’t really stick with me. I had no idea how to use the information. Then about two years ago I actually thought I was a different type than I originally tested. This has been a bit of a confusing process. Now I know I’m a type 1, likely to have a wing 2. How to use this information is still a mission for me.

However my MBTI type has been clear for a long time and knowing it has proved useful for me for more than 4 months now. I found fellow INFJs on a page called Introvert Spring. Here I’ve been inspired, supported and  understood whenever I need it. Also I’ve tried to give others the same feeling of security and belonging in this forum only for INFJs. The feeling of being understood on a deep level like this is so incredible and it makes me so relieved in a way that is hard to describe.

Next step on my journey will be to attend the INFJ blueprint course by Michaela Chung and Marko Kircanski. Hopefully this will help bring me closer to finding my purpose in this world. I’m very exited to work these two inspirational, warmhearted and insightful people. My expectations are sky-high for sure, especially since one of them is a close and trusted friend.

Do you know yourself? Maybe a more accurate question is how well do you know yourself? I strongly recommend to dive even deeper in to yourself to learn more. It will pay off, because knowing yourself makes it so much easier to understand and deal with the world. I will write more about that another day.

Hey there 🙂 I really liked this post! I am also glad to have found Introvert Spring and have been planning on writing a post about it too when I have time. So I appreciated the reminder in your post! I also joined the INFJ Purpose Blueprint. I was really anxious about spending the money for it but in the end I decided that if it really does what it is meant to then it will be worth it multiplied by hundreds! 😀 I look forward to the journey and if you continue to post about it, I look forward to reading that as well. :)<3
